Apply Online
Complete a brief application with your background, areas of expertise, and the types of spiritual support you wish to offer.
Sign the Mentor Agreement
At the end of the application you sign the Mentor Agreement in your own name. Nothing is asked of your bishop, superior, or parish priest.
A Person Reads It
Someone at GraceBook reads every application before it is published. We do not verify what you tell us, and we do not claim to.

Choose your schedule, languages, and how many seekers you can take on. Adjust anytime.

Flexible Video Sessions
Every session is a secure video call with built-in chat. Seekers and mentors can toggle camera and microphone on or off as needed.
End-to-End Encrypted, Then Gone
Video, audio and text go directly between you and the seeker, encrypted end to end. Calls are never recorded, and text messages never reach GraceBook.
Your Notes Stay Yours
GraceBook hosts no session notes. Whatever you write down you keep outside the platform, as those who accompany others always have — where we cannot read it, lose it, or be compelled to produce it.
Minimal Administrative Burden
Scheduling, reminders, and session tracking are handled automatically. Spend your time on what matters — the souls in front of you.
Optional Gifts
Seekers can offer you a voluntary gift after sessions. Gifts go directly to you. The Terms allow GraceBook to keep a percentage to sustain the platform; today it keeps none. You choose whether to accept gifts, and no seeker is ever turned away.
Built on Canon Law — not around it
GraceBook is run by a lay civil corporation. It is not a Church body, and holds no authority to grant or withhold permission to minister. That permission comes from your bishop, superior or pastor, and stays with them.

Sacramental Boundaries
GraceBook provides spiritual accompaniment — never sacramental ministry. Clear disclaimers appear on every session. Confession preparation tools guide seekers back to in-person Confession at their local parish. No ambiguity. No exceptions.
What you undertake
No letter from your chancery, and nothing to wait on. You sign the Mentor Agreement at the end of the application, in your own name, and a person reads what you have written.

- No ordination certificate, letter of good standing or safeguarding certificate
- You may add a letter from your authority if you have one — it is welcome and it gates nothing

What happens if you break it
- Immediate suspension, without prior notice
- Temporary or permanent removal from GraceBook
- A report to your bishop, religious superior, pastor or institute
- A report to civil authorities where the law or somebody's safety requires it

Your conversations are sacred to us
We built GraceBook with the same reverence for confidentiality that the Church demands of spiritual direction.
End-to-End Encrypted
Video and audio travel directly between you and the seeker, encrypted end to end — which works because a session is between the two of you and nobody else. Text sessions travel the same way, and their messages never reach GraceBook.
No Surveillance
We do not monitor, record, or proactively review session content. Your conversations remain private.
Nothing Archived
No transcript of a text session ever exists on GraceBook: messages pass only between your two devices. Nothing about what a session is for is stored beforehand.
Minimal Data, Your Control
We collect as little as we can, never sell it, and you can delete your account yourself at any time.
